"Through the West Gallery, we find the most beautiful room of all, the Blue Lounge. The floor is pale yellow, the wall-panelling bright blue with gold surrounds and the decorated tapestries have 'Rococo-Chinese' motifs after Watteau and Boucher. A Chinese screen in black and gold. Black Rococo chairs with red saffian leather cushions against the blue of the walls, and in the corner, magnificent potpourri jars in famille rose."
